Key research challenge of PriMO-5G is to demonstrate an end-to-end 5G system providing immersive video services for moving objects. PriMO-5G system will integrate mmWave access, 5G core networks, and AI-assisted communications solutions developed by different European and Korean partners.

The project focuses on use of drones to enable immersive video services for firefighting scenarios. In addition to technology development, project targets spectrum regulation, contribution to standardization and open source projects on network softwarisation.
